Horseback riding in a virgin native forest
You will take a horseback ride through a 2,000 acre private property in the majestic and mystical Panqui Valley with a bilingual expert named Corina Ansorena who has lived in Panqui her entire life. She possesses a special connection with horses. The time we personally spent learning and training with her was one of the most rewarding and transformative experiences of our lives. The views of the local Andes Mountains and volcanos from her property is spectacular and unparalleled. Please visit Corina's website for more information: https://ecuestresanpedro.cl/?lang=en
Natural Hot-springs (Termas de Panqui)
We have visited many hot springs in the Western US, as well as South America. You might say, we're hotsprings aficionados. One of the main reasons we decided to move to the Panqui Valley was due to the majestic and healing hotsprings here. Owned and operated for 25 years by and American named Daniel Little, the Termas de Panqui is a remote and isolated hostprings known for its natural, pure, healing mineral content. There is no better way to spend time in our sacred valley! Please visit the website for more information: http://www.panqui.cl/

During the first hour of the hike, we practice Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing, a Japanese healing modality that allows for a profound connection with the pristine nature found in the southern Andes. Also, you will guided through a tea ceremony and meditation on the beach of the final lake of the journey. A small snack is provided. The Araucaria trees that you will see on the hike are one of the oldest tree species left on planet Earth. This is a unique experience that you won't want to miss.
Hiking in a private nature preserve with a local Mapuche guide
We are truly blessed to be located in the heartland of Mapuche country here in the Panqui Valley. We have access to a private nature reserve a few kilometers from our center where a local Mapuche family offers guided hikes to a beautiful alpine lake on their majestic and mystical forested property. You will be guided on your journey by a local Mapuche guide who is familiar with the flora and fauna of the area and he will also explain some of the Mapuche's principal spiritual practices. A tree blessing ceremony is included, along with a typical authentic Mapuche picnic.
